• My Muse

  Many people who know me know how very obsessed I am with the baby rabbit that lives in my backyard. Almost every day I look out my window and he’s furiously eating grass or hopping around. One day he (and, I assume, his family) ate our entire patch of sunflowers. But I couldn’t blame him.

• A Simple Beginning

  Maybe it’s because of the newness of this website, but I’ve been thinking a lot about beginnings recently, specifically the beginnings of books. I’ve come to the conclusion that in addition to the first page or so of a book needing to introduce the main character and the general idea and mood of the story,

• And We’re Off!

  After much tweaking, the website is up. Endless thanks are due to my husband Ray who helped me put this site together and did his best to accomodate my nitpicky requests. Now that we’re up and running, I’ll be posting regularly about my writing, reading, and other literary matters. Make sure to check back often
