Many people who know me know how very obsessed I am with the baby rabbit that lives in my backyard. Almost every day I look out my window and he’s furiously eating grass or hopping around. One day he (and, I assume, his family) ate our entire patch of sunflowers. But I couldn’t blame him. I have my work to do – he has his. For anyone who thinks that my fixation is a little odd, all you have to do is look at him and you’ll understand:
How can you resist those ears? If one day I write a story about a rabbit living in someone’s backyard, you’ll know where it came from. And if it has this little guy on the cover, I know it’ll be a best seller.
