Free Uglies E-Book

For anyone who hasn’t read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld, here’s a chance to get a copy of the book for free! Although Westerfeld has enjoyed a great deal of success and his new book, Leviathan (which comes out in October and sounds intriguing) will probably sell huge numbers without much marketing involved, it seems the publisher isn’t taking any chances. So, as a way of stirring up some buzz for Westerfeld’s new book, Simon and Schuster is offering a free PDF download of Uglies. Of course the series is addictive, so if you read the first book, you’ll probably want to go right out and read the others as well. But they’re a fun read and, in my opinion, definitely worth the trouble.

You’re very welcome. I know the e-book trend is a little scary in terms of the publishing industry, but it is very nice to have access to books whenever we want them!
