Agent Appreciation Day
Posted by annastan on December 11th, 2009. Filed under: Random Fun.I just found out that today is Unofficially Official Agent Appreciation Day so I had to take a minute to gush about my lovely agent Ammi-Joan Paquette at the Erin Murphy Literary Agency. (Look, the agency has a pretty new website!)
Joan has been a wonderful person to have on my side these past few months. Not only does she “get” my writing and have great insight into how to make it better, she’s also an incredibly warm and encouraging person. Writing can be an isolating profession and it can sometimes feel like it’s you against THEM. It’s amazing to have Joan right there with me, cheering me on every step of the way and helping me get my work out into the world.

Ammi-Joan is wonderful! We’ve only met once, but our literary paths have crossed more than a few times and everyone who has worked with her in any capacity adores her–as do I!
