This weekend, Boston is being taken over by ALA, and I’m excited to join in the fun. I’ll be meeting some fellow Enchanted Inkpot members, checking out the exhibits, and attending a Kid/YA Lit “Tweetup.” It’s promising to be a whirlwind of activity, so I’ll be sure to report back next week!
In other news, I’m excited to announce my first ever blog interview! The lovely Heather at Edited to Within an Inch of my Life was kind enough to interview me for her Friday Feature. I got a chance to talk about all sorts of important things like writing, blogging, and tea-drinking. Please take a minute to stop by.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the wonderful interview, Anna!
Have such a great time, Anna, and pretend I’m virtually there! I wish I was!
Thanks PJ! I’m going to try to take lots of pictures and post them next week, so you’ll feel like you were almost there.
Anna, your interview was terrific. I’m another one with a tea cup glued to my hand. Enjoy the ALA in town–can’t wait to hear your report on it. Have fun!
Thanks Andrea! I’m about to go make myself some tea right now.
I’m excited about ALA, though my inner-hermit is squirming a bit. I’m sure it will be fun.
I wish I could be at ALA, but until I get a job I’m not going to be spending a lot on conference attendance. Enjoy it! I’ve never been to Midwinter.
Hi Amanda! That makes sense. I was actually only planning to go to the free events surrounding ALA, but then a friend offered me her extra exhibit pass. I’ve never been to Midwinter either, so I’m excited to see what it’ll be like. Good luck with the job search!
Jealous! I wish I could go to that–it looks like tons of fun!
Hi, Anna. Great interview! I also just did my first interview on a blog and it was posted this past Friday, and I mentioned “The Giver” in my interview as well. It was too much of a coincidence not to mention.
Oh, and I’m totally jealous you got an ARC of “The Dead-Tossed Waves.” Have fun with it.
Katie, that’s so funny! I can’t say I’m that surprised though, considering how amazing The Giver is. Clearly we both have very good taste in books.
