Link Roundup

I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s Day! Apparently in Finland it’s called “Friendship Day” which I think I like better. Anyway, in the spirit of Friendship, Love, and Presidents, here are some helpful and fun links I’ve come across in the past week.

On writing:

-From Alan Rinzler’s website, a look at how to work backstory into your scenes.

-From WritingWorld.com, a breakdown of the art of description by Anne Marble.

-From Through the Wardrobe, a handy list of tips for writing dialogue.

Just for fun:

-A hilarious commercial:

-A really fun, and slightly bizarre, music video by OK Go:

Laura, I guess the videos could be described as strange. :-) The commercial made me laugh, while the music video was just too odd not to share.

Oh wow! Waking up to see a man wrapped in towel. I’m awake now! Just kidding!!! :D The commercials were so hilarious! *Still laughing*

Thank you for the links, Anna! Merry Monday to you. :)

Nathalie, I’m glad this made your morning more pleasant. :-) I just love the end of that commercial: “I’m on a horse.”

    You’re welcome, Catherine. Happy writing!
