Mistwood Launch Party!

Leah and I are both members of the Enchanted Inkpot, so it was great to meet her in person. The event was a lot of fun, and of course I left with my shiny new signed copy of Mistwood (which has been promoted to the very top of my reading list).

That’s Leah on the left, me in the middle, and fellow writer and blogger Heather Kelly on the right.
And here we are with another member of the Inkpot, Nandini Bajpai, and her daughter. As you can tell, we were all very excited to have our shiny new copies of Mistwood. Did I mention the book is shiny? I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it, so I can’t wait to read it!

Woo-hoo! What fun. And proof. Proof that we were actually there! Thanks for posting the pictures, and for the fun time yesterday. There is nothing like meeting virtual friends in real life!!

It must of been warm there, everyone is in tank tops! I am jealous when writers get to meet up. Looks like such fun!

Tina, it was 90 degrees!! NOT typical spring weather in Massachusetts, but we’ll take it!
Robin, I know all the Inkies were there in spirit. I hope one day we’ll all be able to be in the same place at the same time!

Lisa, I’m usually terrified of meeting new people, but somehow meeting up with people I “know” online is much less scary. Hopefully one day we’ll all be able to get together!
Lydia, the book cover is SO pretty. I was sitting there petting it for a while.
Laura, it was a lot of fun. My reading list is about to explode, but I couldn’t help putting MISTWOOD at the very top!

I’m jealous! I would have loved to have come. sigh. But I did finish Mistwood in one night as it is completely unputdownable. I am in love with it!

Ello, I wish you could have teleported here for it! So many people have told me MISTWOOD is “unputdownable” – I’ll have to clear my schedule before I start reading it!
Kelly, I haven’t been to lots of book signings/launches thus far, but they are so much fun, especially if you can meet up with fellow writers and bloggers. I’m definitely planning on going to more events in the future!

Thanks, Karen! I used to wear contacts all the time, but my eyes decided they’d had quite enough. I’m sure we’ll both like MISTWOOD – it sounds like our kind of book.
