Friday Five: Spring Edition!!

Posted by annastan on April 13th, 2012. Filed under: Friday Five, Random Fun.

It’s finally feeling like spring, as opposed to the schizophrenic summer/winter weather we’ve been getting recently. Spring always makes me feel energized, so even though I don’t have much to report, here is an overly-excited, exclamation-and-picture-filled, springy Friday Five!!!

1. I sent Book 2 to my editor last week!

2. Now that Book 2 is off my plate for a little while, I’ve been brainstorming ideas for a new project. It’s going very slowly! In fact, it’s almost painful!! It sort of feels like this:

3. Miss Emma Dog is going to have surgery soon (nothing major, don’t worry) so I expect to have some adorable pictures of her wearing a cone of shame soon!

4. I’ve been reading up a storm recently! I’ll be sure to do a post soon about all the books I’ve been enjoying!!

5. And speaking of spring, I was over at YA Outside the Lines yesterday talking about how most of my writing projects are set in the spring. How odd is that?

Have a great weekend!!!!!

    1. When you share cone pics of your pup, I’ll share cone pics of my kitten. :)
    2. I had a nightmare last night that my kitten was RABID. Terrifying. :)
    3. My kids were SO GOOD last night with sitter (did homework, went to bed on time, took out the trash #weird) that I am thinking of places to go JUST SO I CAN LEAVE THEM with sitter again. :)
    4. Love the cat sitting on turtle pic. That’s how I feel right now. :)
    5. I am figuring out five things to say on your blog instead of going for a run right now. Because blog commenting is THAT important. :) And my brain is just that slow. Hmmm. Maybe I need that run…

Sunny here yesterday, but heavy hail at one point, so still winter-spring weather! :O
Good luck with coming up with a new project.

There’s a definite spring to your step here, Anna. Hooray for sending off book two, and thank you for the many joyous images^^^

Not that I want anyone to experience the same thing as me, but it makes me feel a little better to know I’m not the only one having trouble brainstorming a new project! I’m waiting for the right idea to hit me. I hope one hits you soon too!
