The “Dirt” On My New Tween Series!
Posted by annastan on October 22nd, 2012. Filed under: Announcements, Dirt Diary.Well, I obnoxiously teased you guys last week about having good news, and now it’s time to spill the beans. My editor at Sourcebooks has acquired two books in a new tween series! Here’s the official announcement:
MY VERY UN-FAIRY TALE LIFE author Anna Staniszewski’s next two novels, THE DIRT DIARY and THE DIRT WAR, about a fourteen-year-old girl who joins up with her mom’s house-cleaning business, only to find herself inside the homes of the most popular kids in school—and stumbling across their secrets, again to Aubrey Poole at Sourcebooks Jabberwocky, by Ammi-Joan Paquette at Erin Murphy Literary Agency (World English).
I can’t tell you how excited I am! I’m thrilled to continue working with Sourcebooks after the UnFairy Tale series is finished, and I’m beyond ecstatic that this story is going to be out in the world!
I first started writing DIRT DIARY almost exactly two years ago (during NaNoWriMo) and it remains my favorite project, probably because the main character is as quirky and neurotic as I am.
