School Visits and Writing Workshops
**Please note that my school visit availability is currently very limited, but I am available to Skype with schools and clubs.**
My school visits draw on my years of writing as well as my experiences teaching courses on writing and children’s literature at Simmons University. I offer the following programs:
Becoming an Author - This interactive presentation is appropriate for grades K-6, runs for about an hour, and works best for groups of up to fifty students.
Creating a Character - This hands-on writing workshop is appropriate for grades 3-6, runs for about an hour, and works best for groups of up to twenty-five students. (This session is also available via Skype.)
Skype Q&A Session - This 20-minute Q&A Session is free for classes or book clubs that have read any one of my books.
Note: I am also available for story times, readings, author panels, conference workshops, and other types of presentations.
Please contact me for more information about specific programs and pricing, or about customizing a visit for your group.
