School Visits and Writing Workshops
My school visits draw on my years of writing as well as my experiences teaching courses on writing and children’s literature at Simmons University.
I currently offer the following programs:

Becoming an Author - This interactive presentation is appropriate for grades K-6, runs for about an hour, and works best for larger groups. (Virtual and In-Person)

Creating a Character - This hands-on writing workshop is appropriate for grades 3-6, runs for about an hour, and works best for smaller groups. (Virtual and In-Person)

Q&A Session - This 20-30 minute Q&A Session is free for classes or book clubs. Familiarity with at least one of my books is appreciated but not required. (Virtual Only)
Note: I am also available for story times, readings, author panels, conference workshops, and other types of presentations.
Please contact me for pricing and scheduling, or about customizing a visit for your group.
